Our biodegradable bags are made using Nativia® film which is manufactured from Polylactic acid resin (PLA). This comes from annually renewable corn or other starch/sugar sources. The film is completely biodegradeble into CO², water and biomass (organic matter used as a fuel) under industrial composting conditions. (6 months at 58°C)
